Format variants and language versions of materials: fast, consistent and checked by a person
The same graphic in ten sizes, the same catalogue in five languages, the same presentation for three industries. Repetitive work, but necessary. We prepare format variants and language versions quickly, with AI and our own tools, and what reaches the customer is always decided by a person.
What are variants and language versions?
We hand the repetitive part of the work to tools. Decisions and control stay with people.
Format variants are the same material adapted to different places: ad sizes, social media proportions, page layout, print. Language versions are the same material in the languages of the markets, keeping the layout and quality of the original. What both kinds of work have in common is that they are repetitive and that a mistake in one of twenty files is easy to miss. That is why we work with a process, not file by file.
How do we prepare variants and versions?
- We tidy up the master version. The master material gets a structure that allows quick variants: layers, styles, text separated from graphics.
- We generate the variants. AI tools and our own scripts prepare the formats and the first language versions. What used to take days takes hours.
- A person checks. A designer looks at every file, and every language version is read by someone who knows the language and the market. We fix line breaks, text length, special characters, tone.
- We organise and hand over. The complete set reaches you organised by channel and market, with naming that lets you find the right file in a second.
What do you get?
- a complete set of formats of the material for all channels,
- language versions checked by people who know the market,
- organised files with clear naming,
- a master version prepared so that further variants are produced even faster.
When is it worth outsourcing variants and versions?
- when a campaign runs in many channels and formats,
- when the company operates in several markets and every material needs several languages,
- when the team loses time mechanically adjusting files,
- when language versions contain mistakes that customers catch.
Frequently asked questions
Are language versions machine translation?
No. AI prepares a first version, which is checked and corrected by a person who knows the language and the market. That check is mandatory, and the signature under the material is ours.
Which languages do you work in?
In the languages of European markets. We run our own project, Robots Point, in 21 languages, so the process is proven at scale.
Can you work with our files?
Yes. If the materials are sensibly prepared, we work with them. If not, we tidy up the master version so that further variants are fast and error-free.
